Past weekend I visited the amazing and unique ZXZW festival in Tilburg (The Netherlands) where I played as a anonymous guestartist with the Australian Grey Daturas. It was fantastic and their show has been receiving great reviews in Dutch magazines Oor, 3voor12, etc. For photos, click here
But the guestperformance was merely a side-kick as I spent 2 days in Tilburg to enjoy and wander around the festival. ZXZW is an unique alternative festival where the mainstream Tilburg scenery (cafes, venues, etc.) goes hand in hand with the most excentric and uncompromised in the music scene. A daring line-up of performers, bands, laptop artists and visuals artists but it works and the weekend was just mesmerizing, meeting up with highly intriguing and interesting people, witnessing fantastic shows and just dwelling through the streets of Tilburg from one venue to another. Next year we’ll go back… Respect to Frank, Vincent, the entire ZXZW crew and the Grey Daturas.
