R.I.P. Buddy Miles

One of the worlds greatest drummers ever, Buddy Miles, passed away february 26th, in his house in Austin, Texas. Miles collaborated with many great ones. He started his career age 11,, playing in bands like the Delfonics and playing with Wilson Picket. One of the highlights in his career was performing drum duties on Jimi Hendrix’ Electric Ladyland, after which him, Hendrix and bassist Billy Cox formed the Band of Gypsies.

 After Hendrix, Miles played with artists like Bowie, Wonder, Waters, Clinton, White, Santana and Collins.
