Raising gas prices kill indie bands

“We just spent almost $3,000 on gas alone for three weeks of touring. There was more than one instance where we questioned whether we could afford to continue to the next gig, and we wondered aloud how much longer bands touring on our level could afford to do it. It’s going from financially frustrating to financially impossible.”
