Our “Space Is The Place” shirt is a very special addition to this line. This tee was inspired by the late, great Sun Ra from the Sun Ra Arkestra. His cosmic philosophy and innovative jazz helped pave the way for black music groups to experiment with music and it’s limits all over the globe. OKP will be donating a portion of all proceeds from this shirt directly to The Sun Ra Arkestra who still put on a wild, out, psychedelic, spacey, costume-clad show, even though Sun Ra’s presence is definitely missed. Why did we decide to make this shirt to help the Sun Ra Arkestra? Before you can understand the “why” let us explain the “who“.
