From 14 to 16 January, the annual Eurosonic/Noorderslag showcase festival will take place in Groningen, The Netherlands. This year with a lot of former Incubate/ZXZW artists included in the line-up! We tip bands you might like.

Quadrofoon is a new recordlabel set up by Ries Doms of ex-Spades and now Hooghwater fame. The label specializes in new and upcoming bands who want to release their stuff on vinyl. Yes, Quadrofoon releases come only on those big round things. The first release was Hooghwaters own ‘Echoes’, and releases of The Shaking Godspeed and Charlie Jones’ Big Band will be out in the near future. The showcase on Friday the 15^th of January will include performances of Hooghwater (ZXZW 2008), Reactionaries (Incubate 2009) and Shaking Godspeed.

Don’t bother look on your ES/NS-timetable for this showcase. It’s set up independently of the Eurosonic-festival. So think independently and go there! We surely will!
