From 14 to 16 January, the annual Eurosonic/Noorderslag showcase festival will take place in Groningen, The Netherlands. This year with a lot of former Incubate/ZXZW artists included in the line-up! We tip bands you might like.

Maybe you remember the great Bonne Aparte from ZXZW 2008? One of their members, Michiel Klein, was also famous in the Dutch underground for his band Adept. Last year Adept quit and Michiel started a new band, Eklin, an anagram of his surname. But they also play as Kelin or Kilen. Eklin started as a sort of drone project, but from what we heard they’re now even making something that you could call songs. Til now everything that Michiel touched went gold, so we don’t expect anything less this time. Eklin is not only playing the official Eurosonic festival, but is also playing at our friends of Owsum on saturday (with free Vedett!) and at the Subroutine party at which they’re playing as Ilken.
