Carnival. Yes, we celebrate that in The Netherlands. Not in the way the Brazilians do, but the way we do. Like this. Well… Every year different artists try to get a number one chart position that’ll be played at all the parties around the country during carnival.

This year, the race is between Adje (you might have heard of him before on this blog) and New Kids, who have a serie at the Dutch Comedy Central. We think the last one has the biggest chance to win. New Kids is like the Dutch version of Trailer Park Boys, only with more beer, stunts, snacks, mullets and scooters.

They signed at PIAS Comedy recently and the carnival song has the title “Groeten uit Brabant, kut!”, literally translated “Greetings from Brabant, you cunt!”. Get it on iTunes here.
