I totally digged their show at Lowlands 2009.Last year I said it (crunkcore) would be the next 'big' thing. And it did. Somehow. Somewhere in a world where they accept this genre. But you know how it is with mainland Europe. Things go slower.
So this year Brokencyde, and genre bands like I Set My Friends On Fire, Breathe Carolina and so on have made the big step to come play Europe. With Attack! Attack! and the whole crabcore thing, it can be the same. I already tried to book them, but they turned down 2 Euro tours already. So its possible that in a weird world like our music bizz is, it maybe possible that crunk will get 'big' in 2010, and Crabcore in 2011.Although the two genres are pretty alike (for the less detailed hearing human being, who it all sounds like crap anyway), it can just happen they all explode (or implode) in 2010.Anyway, I think all these genres are interesting as they bring genre's together nobody has dreamed of before (or well, maybe in a nightmare). The cool thing about hypes is: you love it or you hate it.
Like the mighty Yoda says in a galaxy far far away: Do or die, there is no try.cheers
JepsPS: for all the gearheads, there is this: http://musformation.com/pics/crabcorepedal.jpg(thanks to Samir)

It’s not ‘Fuck Brokencyde’ from my side.

I love BC13.
