This Sunday: Savage Republic @ TAC, Eindhoven

January 22, 2010

If you have ever attended a Neurosis-gig in the past, you’ll know Savage Republic. Just before they got onstage, Neurosis would blast these industrial art punk pioneers through their PA. The band was looming in the underground in the 80′s, but never got further than cult-status. When they reformed, Neurosis, who are big fans of these heavy tribal inspired punkers, gave them a place at their Beyond the Pale festival in 2002. Neurosis also brought out their new releases on their Neurot-label. For fans of Glenn Branca, Can, DNA, Amon Duul, PiL, The Pop Group, Joy Division, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, The Ventures and Flipper.

It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this band life!

Where: Temporary Art Centre (TAC), Eindhoven
When: Sunday, January 24th, 9.00 pm
Damage: 5 euros
