Tilburg is the 6th biggest city of The Netherlands but it still lacks good and affordable places to stay. So we at Incubate are working on some plans to accommodate our visitors. We’ve got a few ideas, but we’re very interested in what our community thinks about temporary hotels, little sleeping sheds, hotelboats or campsites in the city. That’s why we want to ask you a few questions about sleeping arrangements.
For all the ideas we have, you can take a look at http://www.socialfestivalmodel.org/page/Incubate+Accomodation.
You can leave your comments on http://getsatisfaction.com/incubate/ or drop us an e-mail on sleep@incubate.org.
We’d like to know your opinion and ideas on the following points:
1. What do you feel are the basic needs when a festival caters a campsite/hotel. Please answer with ++, +, 0, -, — and eventually place a comment
- Good Location
- Shower
- Eat/Drink facilities
- Heated sleepingplace
- Entertainment (like live-bands on the campsite)
- Electricity
- Something else… (pls comment)
2. What are your feelings about renting little sleeping-huts for like 2 or 4 people for 1. the whole festival or 2. the festivals last weekend (Friday to Sunday)? This woul mean that you and your friends, pay one amount for the hut with festival tickets for the group included.
For examples, go to www.festihut.be or www.flexhotel.nl
3. What do you think is a fair price (per person per night without festival ticket) for a:
- Portable motel on a terrain in the city center
- Camper park @ ‘t Laar festivity site
- Farmers camp site
- Hotel boat @ Piushaven
If you have any other ideas about alternative sleeping facilities, we’re very excited to hear them!
Thanks a lot !!
