FabrIQ is a new festival in Den Bosch. It focuses more on the intense and unknown music you can rarely find in the bigger pop venues. The festival will take place on Sunday the 7th of March in De Verkadefabriek and the W2 (two old factories, hence the name). The afterparty will be held in Plein 97, a nice bar in the centre of Den Bosch. Check all info (time schedule, pre-sale info here. The upcoming days, Incubate will give you their tips.
Earlier, we advised you to go and see Kría Brekkan and Karl Blau, today it’s time to put the spotlight on dd/mm/yyyy (Day, Month Year). Hailing from Toronto, Canada, this energetic fivesome creates “hyper math-punk with touches of prog and hardcore” (Pitchfork). The band has toured with groups such as Don Caballero, sBach, These Arms Are Snakes and Blood Brothers. Last year saw the release of their fourth album ‘Black Square’ and a split with Childbite. Sunday they will hit Den Bosch. Prepare yourself for something that has been described as “an itchy, spasmatic thumb war between post-rock, indie-jazz, synth-noise and… well, Canada. This circus of syncopation may have been a knot in the beards of the crowd’s metal purists, but it was far and away the most interesting and provoking material of the entire lineup.” (Atlanta Music Guide)
