Tonight: Vatican Analog

GOLDEN CUP is the solo project of Luca Massolin, an active figure in the
young generation of outsider musicians. Born in Italy, he is now living in
Portugal. His sound is focused on string instruments, (guitar, bass,
mandolin) voice and analog electronics. He is constantly encouraged by his
fascination for the work of the early electronic music pioneers, early 70s
guitar rock as well as cosmic improvisation, minimalism, and free jazz.
In his solo recordings and performances, as well as his involvement in
Golden Jooklo Age and Neokarma Jooklo Experience, he developed a personal
sound focusing on the power of music and creating images. His efforts as
band member and solo artist have been documented by labels such as Qbico,
Digitalis, Troglosound, Peasant Magik and his own 8mm imprint.

BRAM STADHOUDERS is considered one of The Netherlands’ best and most
refreshing improvising musicians since Han Bennink and Misha Mengelberg. His
style is filmic and dreamy, and he uses guitar and technology to create
magical worlds of aural inspiration. Raised in a musician-family, as a
little boy his father gave him his first classical guitar lessons, with
which he already won several competitions. Later he continued in the world
of rock, jazz, and electronic music, with the same success stories. His
music is praised by press and audience, and he was chosen as “Most Promising
Improviser” in The Netherlands, connected to the biggest tour for upcoming
musicians and a performance on national television.

STAPLERFAHRER is the artistic moniker for Steffan de Turck, a Dutch sound
artist from Tilburg in the Netherlands, who plays around with crunched and
broken sounds, circuit bended gadgetry and electro-magnetic waves. and some
weightlifting with powerbooks along the way.
