[Go See] Pretty Smart Textiles

May 27, 2010

Smart Textiles are a new trend on the intersections of fashion, art and technology, where innovative materials and electronics are integrated in a textile carrier. Artists and designers are bringing textiles to life using movement, light and sound. Pretty Smart Textiles brings an exhibition of e-textiles made by young artists and designers in the Netherlands and is curated by Melissa Coleman and Dorith Sjardijn. Check out the website of Pretty Smart Textiles or Villanuts for more info.
