Vincent Koreman and DJ UMb are not the only ones that have visited South Africa on Mundials invite. Earlier this year the Tilburg Cowboys were in Johannesburg for some charity/art projects. One of the cowboys will open a new exhibition tomorrow at the VVV Tilburg. Undoubtedly inspired by his trip earlier this year, Sander van Brussel has started a project around the Makaraba, a helmet that South African football supporters wear to matches. The exhibition shows 11 original South African makarabas and 11 makarabas made by Dutch artists. On June 18, the Dutch makarabas will be auctioned at the Mundial Festival and the money will be donated to the Imbali, Visual Illeteracy Project.
