[inQ&A] Emma Acs

June 16, 2010

Only a few more months until Incubate 2010. For the past few months we’ve been announcing new artists every week. But with 200 + artists coming up in September we can imagine you losing your hold. That’s why we compiled the Incubate 2010 Spotify playlist (http://incu.at/spotify). Subscribing to this playlist will get you acquainted with most of the Incubate 2010 bands.

Apart from their music, part of the getting-to-know-them-better-proces will also be us asking some of the artists a few questions in the upcoming months. The fourteenth edition in a series:

Emma Acs

1.Can you please introduce yourself?
I am an 18 year old girl with an angry mind and a great love for pop melodies. After have been hiding in a world war II bunker in a spacey universe, recording my debut record  we’re now ready to show the rest of the world what real pop is.

2.Where are you at the moment?
In Copenhagen playing gigs, and in the beginning of June releasing the single ‘We Make Sense’ in english and french.

3.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
No.

4.What can we expect of your gig at the Incubate Festival?
One big family of a band shakin’ tambourines, playing mandolins, singing choirs so innocent they make you cry!, playing the grooviest farfisa organ, telling good stories and everything in between.

5.What are your plans for the (near) future?
Finding out who’s going to release our record which is very close to the finish line. Then release it and make a fortune..
