Only three more months until Incubate 2010. For the past few months we’ve been announcing new artists every week. But with 200 + artists coming up in September we can imagine you losing your hold. That’s why we compiled the Incubate 2010 Spotify playlist (http://incu.at/spotify). Subscribing to this playlist will get you acquainted with most of the Incubate 2010 bands.
Apart from their music, part of the getting-to-know-them-better-proces will also be us asking some of the artists a few questions in the upcoming months. The twenty-eighth edition in a series:
1.Can you please introduce yourself?
The .Psychofagist. creature is a blasting sax-splattered experimental grind/postcore juggernaut, born in the last day of the year 2001. Since then, many things have changed, expecially nowadays for the freshly release of the second full-lenght “Il Secondo Tragico”: an unstable jumble of arrhythmic swings and hysteric bursts. The “International Psychic Observer” wrote about .Psychofagist.: “It’s as if Total Fucking Destruction is doing a collaboration with Fantômas and a jazz orchestra standing on the side of it”!!!
2.Where are you at the moment?
We all live around the Milan area, north-west of Italy, except Luca-Zu who is a worldwide nomad as everyone well knows…
3.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
We have scheduled our very first gigs in The Netherlands for the last weekend of June, but we know several bands coming from your country and many good feedbacks came out from other bands we know played there.
4.What can we expect of your gig at the Incubate Festival?
Incubate is a sort of paradise for all those who really care about the underground and the “unchained” forms of art … free-art for not-obliterated-people. For Psychofagist it will surelly be amazing!
5.What are your plans for the (near) future?
Playing live, playing live, playing live, playing live, playing live, playing live, playing live …
