Less than two months until Incubate 2010. For the past few months we’ve been announcing new artists every week. But with 200 + artists coming up in September we can imagine you losing your hold. That’s why we compiled the Incubate 2010 Spotify playlist (http://incu.at/spotify). Subscribing to this playlist will get you acquainted with most of the Incubate 2010 bands.
Apart from their music, part of the getting-to-know-them-better-proces will also be us asking some of the artists a few questions in the upcoming months. The forty-eighth edition in a series:
1.Can you please introduce yourself?
I’m Laurent Pedro Max Michael Phong-Tong Kevin Steve Gérard a.k.a. él-g
2.Where are you at the moment?
In an mental Hawaii, playing rototoms and trying to get some melodies from it.
3.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
I played in Utrecht with Ghédalia Tazartès and Jo with our band Reines d’Angleterre. And also played in Den Haag, solo, electronic visitations. People are blasé because of weed and whores but they love biking. So much bikes, more bikes then citizens, some bikes without any rider, bikes in year 3000, just bikes, no more people on it, robots-bikes, bikes despotism, insurrection by moto-knights, they’ll win, no more bikes.
4.What can we expect of your gig at the Incubate Festival?
Doom booty and proto-songs , some thought about Google, but gargled.
5.What are your plans for the (near) future?
TG and I will tour from Incubate Fest to Switzerland, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. New records are coming too. I’ll have them in Tilburg, I offer two free Lp’s for the two first people who’ll come to me and will shout – “I got a kangoo in my pocket , a zobby zob cap and three gay baby-monkeys too, France sucks so much but Luxembourg’s worse , gimme a pile of dead condoms to jump on it and be happy, ha la la what a strange day for me I ate one thousand kilogrammes of past their-use-by-date ice-cream but it made me travel in time to Pterodactyl areas” – in reverse mode.
