[inQ&A] Zombie Zombie

July 31, 2010

Less than two months until Incubate 2010. For the past few months we’ve been announcing new artists every week. But with 200 + artists coming up in September we can imagine you losing your hold. That’s why we compiled the Incubate 2010 Spotify playlist (http://incu.at/spotify). Subscribing to this playlist will get you acquainted with most of the Incubate 2010 bands.

Apart from their music, part of the getting-to-know-them-better-proces will also be us asking some of the artists a few questions in the upcoming months. The fifty-sixth edition in a series:

Zombie Zombie

1.Can you please introduce yourself?
Zombie Zombie is a two band piece ! ETIENNE JAUMET on keyboard and COSMIC NEMAN on drums ! We play with Analog keyboards monophomic and everything is played live without computers! Our music is based on rythm under the influence of the psychelic scene in France and in Germany in the 70′s…

2.Where are you at the moment?
On tour in Europe ! HELLO MUM! If you read this!

3.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
We played at Eurosonic festival and in Amsterdam to support MGMT… each time the audience was great and enthousiastic ! I can’t wait playing before fans of one of my favorite bands ever : NEU!

4.What can we expect of your gig at the Incubate Festival?

We just want to have fun and feel free enough to experiment new songs…

5.What are your plans for the (near) future?
Our new EP of covers of john Carpenter soundtracks will be out this september! We will promoted it in Europe… it’s so fun to play those songs, I really hope people will have the same pleasure as us to ear it!!!
