[inQ&A] The Drip Dry Man and the Dirty Hellhounds

August 17, 2010

Less than two months until Incubate 2010. For the past few months we’ve been announcing new artists every week. But with 200 + artists coming up in September we can imagine you losing your hold. That’s why we compiled the Incubate 2010 Spotify playlist (http://incu.at/spotify). Subscribing to this playlist will get you acquainted with most of the Incubate 2010 bands.

Apart from their music, part of the getting-to-know-them-better-proces will also be us asking some of the artists a few questions in the upcoming months. The sixty-fifth edition in a series:

The Drip Dry Man and the Dirty Hellhounds

1.Can you please introduce yourself?
I go by the name of THE DRIP DRY MAN AND HIS ONE MAN BEAT REVOLVER  I play with the wonderful Sven Karma and Dr Von Alston

2.Where are you at the moment?
I currently live in Lisbon but am about to move to Spain, the rest of my band live in Wales UK.  At the moment I live between many places.  Quite a hectic life!!!!

3.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
I enjoy playing in this part of Europe.  Played at the Queensday festival which was great, great musicians everywhere and lovely audience members.

4.What can we expect of your gig at the Incubate Festival?
Expect some primitive dirty ass blues that will make you reconsider what three guys can do.  Hopefully you’ll get a varied show, whatever happens it will be a blast.

5.What are your plans for the (near) future?
Am currently getting ready for a short tour in September of Holland and Belgium and then a larger one in October to Italy and back.  Then i will be starting to record a new album and start working on things for next year.  Will get a vinyl ep sorted out this month too.  Everything takes a little time.  We’ve had so many shows across Europe this year, looks like the States will be the next step aswell as preturning to as many venues in Europe as possible.
