You know us right? The festival that always comes up with ideas that are somewhat doubtful. Right now we have something for you though that’s so crazy it’s almost unimaginable… We offer you the chance to get tatto0ed by one of the best tattoo artists in Holland, for FREE!!!

Of course there’s a catch. It has to be one of the designs of our TILBURG INK project, which you can read all about below, AND you have to have a valid INCUBATE ticket for the day of tattooing:

TILBURG INK:
In the world of tattooing, the one who handles the needle is considered the artist. But does this make tattoos works of art? Often value defines whether a work is art or not. Value again is defined by unicity. So… when millions of people decorate their bodies with the same hearts, skulls and anchors -while the ‘tattoo artist’ merely makes a copy of an already existing image- how does this affect the artistic value?

Incubate has asked several young visual artists to create new tattoo designs. Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, you can have these designs tattooed by master tattoo artist Darko Groenhagen for free in Luycks Gallery in Tilburg!!

Artists involved in this project are: Constant Dullaart, Koen Delaere, Rafael Rozendaal, Martijn Hendriks, Boris de Vries/Father Futureback, Ronald de Bloeme, Iris van Dongen, Marc Bijl, Thomas I’Anson and S Lloyd Trumpstein.

The location for this is the Luycks Gallery – right across from our Ticketcentre, in the heart of Tilburg.
