Day 1: Sunday September 12
Today is the day! The kickoff day of Incubate 2010, and we bring you lots of good stuff already. You might have noticed that we’ve silently opened the Input/Output exhibition at the Library last week already. Artists Ryan Trecartin and Martijn Hendriks are showing their video art there from 11:00 to 17:00. In the afternoon we’ll open the Tanis / Verhoef exhibition at Argument at 15:00. Next to this you can go download your favorite music, movies and software at our Kiosk of Piracy (bring your laptop or pc!) or check out the many statues in the city center of Tilburg wearing pirated clothes made by the Incubate Sweatshop.
The evening holds a special event. Charles Leadbeater, leading thinker on innovation and creativity and former advisor to Tony Blair, will take the stage to give a keynote lecture at De NWE Vorst. After this a discussion will take place with a panel of experts from the fields of arts, economy and politics.
More info on all artists and the program can ofcourse be found at our site and in the Incubate festival guide. Timetables can be found here.
Happy Incubating!
