[Today at Incubate] Day 2: The Ex, Zola Jesus, Pirate Cinema and much more

September 13, 2010

Day 2: Monday September 13

Today we have the first bands for you, and what bands they are! What to think of Zola Jesus with her dark dreamy ambient pop? And her show will even be for free! And what about a full evening curated by none other than legendary anarchist punk impro rockers The Ex? At the V39 tonight they’ve invited a bunch of their friends to perform after which the masters themselves will take the stage. Also, the Woccii program will start today: the whole week long the programmers of Rotterdam’s Worm and Amsterdam’s OCCII will present a diverse music program at the Paradox.

But there’s much more than music. Also today, we’ll kick off our Pirate Cinema program. Enjoy the best and most hilarious pirated, sweded and copied movies in the Filmfoyer all week long. And yes, we give this one away for free as well!

And no, we’re not done yet. Next to the art exhibitions that have already started, today Hester Scheurwater will start exhibiting her work throughout all the city centre of Tilburg. With her wildbeaming project she’ll be projecting huge images on walls, churches and other buildings in the city centre the whole week long. The city turns into a museum.

More info on all artists and the program can ofcourse be found at our site and in the Incubate festival guide. Timetables can be found here.

Happy Incubating!
