[Today at Incubate] Day 6: Black Mountain, Pirate Conference, Generation Bass and much much more!

September 17, 2010

Day 6: Friday September 17

After five great days of incubating it’s now time for our packed full weekend program! Prepare to be immersed in a downright downpour of independent culture for the next three days!

Since there’s so much to do and see today, we can only take out a few highlights for you. One of them will definetely be Black Mountain‘s performance at the Natuurtheater in Oisterwijk. The countryside, together with the amphitheater and the surrounding lakes will suit the psychedelic music of Black Mountain perfectly. You don’t want to miss this very special performance! There will be special busses going back and forth to the Natuurtheater. See more info on that here.

If Black Mountain doesn’t play fast enough for you, you can always go check out our black metal package with Zwartplaag, Hell Militia, Inquisition and Liturgy at the V39 and the Little Devil. Not into all that ruckus? Head to the Pauluskerk for some beautiful good ol’ country and folk music from Frank Fairfield or Josephine Foster!

And ofcourse in the evening you can go berserk to the coolest dance grooves mixed with the hottest music from all over the world with the DJ’s at our Generation Bass dance night! Ofcourse you can visit the Generation Bass nights with an Incubate dayticket or passepartout, but if you only want to visit Incubate to come dance at Generation Bass, that’s also possible. After 10pm tickets are only 10 euro, so come on in and boogie!

As you probably know by now our central theme this year is piracy in the arts. During the day we have invited some of the biggest speakers and innovators on this subject to inform you on all the pro’s and cons of piracy. Come see what author Matt Mason, artist Rob Scholte, Public Enemy producer Bomb Squad and many other pirate speakers have to say on the subject at our Piracy Conference from 11:00 to 17:00 at the Midi Theater. You do need seperate tickets for this event, but, like a true pirate, you get to pay what you want for this conference!

Ofcourse there’s much and much more music, art, films and events to enjoy today, so start browsing the program below and take your picks!

More info on all artists and the program can of course be found at our site and in the Incubate festival guide. Timetables can be found here.

Happy Incubating!
