Before Incubated 02, next Thursday in the Paradox, there will be a warm up for your ears with two  instore shows at the record store Sounds! Les Shelleys and Gregory & The Hawk will both play an acoustic set.

Don’t let the name Gregory & The Hawk mislead you. Gregory & The Hawk is the solo project of Meredith Godreau. She combines folk and electronics in a nice and dreamy way. Les Shelleys (photo) consists of Tom Brosseau and Angela Correa. Tom Brosseau was one of the highlights of Incubate 2008 and with Angela Correa makes music in the old folk tradition of Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and Simon & Garfunkel.
