You now have the chance to experience some different aspects of the musicianship of Hauschka. Above here is a radio session Volker Bertelmann (mr. Hauschka) did with an ensemble for american college radio station KCRW, playing songs from his new record Foreign Landscapes.
That’s how the new songs sound live, this is how the official release of Foreign Landscapes sounds:
Or if you like, here‘s the record on 3voor12′s Luisterpaal, it’s also available here on Spotify, ready to be included in your playlists.
Hauschka performing live on his own is a different experience than the video with an ensemble. It would’ve been great to have Hauschka performing at Incubated tomorrow with the ensemble, but we’re happy to have him performing on his own. It makes his music more intimate and more delicate. In this OffBeat Session you have him performing on his own.
Would Hauschka sound different in Japan? Listen for yourself:
If you watched all of the above videos you probably might want to attend Incubated 02 with Hauschka and Knut tomorrow (04 november 2010) in Paradox, Tilburg.
