Le Guess Who?. One of the coolest festivals in the Netherlands is about to happen from 24 ’till 28 November! Utrecht will be the best place in the country to hear the nicest music these five days. Glitchfolk, melancholic electropop and dubby loveanthems, together they should characterise Baths’ album Cerulean. Twenty-one-year-old (!) LA based Will Wiesenfeld was introduced to the glitchscene by Daedalus and opened for him and the likes of Flying Lotus and Nosaj Thing. His childlike approach to the few dogma’s are combined with a contrasting nostalgia of an old soul. Baths’ song ♥ could well be one of the best songs of 2010. Almost like a a twenty-first century All I Need (by French producers Air) it grabs you while still experimenting with fades of piano and pinchy glitchcuts.
