2010 was a great year we think. We hope we enjoyed you with Incubate festival (next year from 11 to 18 September!) and the Incubated concert series. The first three editions were fantastic and of course we’re continuing in 2011. On Thursday, January 6th at Paradox Tilburg you can celebrate the new year at Incubated 04 with us, each other and these three great artists: Dustin O’Halloran, Dÿse and the very first Dutch witch house show ever by Mater Suspiria Vision!
Dustin O’Halloran is an American musician, based in Berlin, playing the piano in a neoclassical, emotional manner with clear influences of Debussy, Chopin, Satie and Glass. He is best known for this atmospheric musical contribution to Sofia Copolla’s film ‘Marie Antoinette’ and the independent film ‘An American Affair’. He also collaborates with musicians like Hauschka, Sara Lov and Nils Frahm. This is your only… chance to get enchanted by the melodies of this wonderful solo pianist in the Netherlands.
Dÿse’s sound is as uncommon as the sound of their name. Their music could be the lovechild of Dillinger Escape Plan, NoMeansNo and Shellac. They are on their way to becoming Germany’s loudest rock duo by entertaining their audiences with energetic compositions of experimental mathrock. Dÿse is no stranger to the Tilburg rock scene; they played at ZXZW in 2007 and were the final act at the Roadburn festival last year.
Mater Suspiria Vision has freshly released their music through Disaro records; sounding as brand new as the ‘witch house’ they provide. The band was praised for their Ghost Drone remixes and Zombie Rave mix tapes. After their runic kabbalah videos were banned from YouTube for its content, they are uploading their esoteric explicit music videos on Vimeo. These videos have all been created by band member and visual artist Cosmotropia de Xam and their performances are an equal exciting audiovisual musical ritual.
