The second edition of FabrIQ festival will be held in Den Bosch this weekend. FabrIQ festival, also known as the festival of Intrusive Quality, focuses more on the intense and unknown music you can rarely find in the bigger pop venues. Those who have seen Dustin O’Halloran at Incubated 06 will certainly love this! Nils Frahm is a young pianist who was taught piano by Nahum Brodski, student of the last scholar of Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. He soon created his own style, combining these influences with modern contemporary classical music which eventually led to Peter Broderick inviting him to record an album together, as well as touring together and remixing some of his work. After numerous shows in venues like Paradiso, Ekko, Paard van Troje as well as a performance at this year’s Eurosonic festival, he will perform a late afternoon show at Verkadefabriek.
