[Special] Inlog.org tips FabrIQ 2011: Sleep Party People

February 22, 2011

The second edition of FabrIQ festival will be held in Den Bosch this weekend. FabrIQ festival, also known as the festival of Intrusive Quality, focuses more on the intense and unknown music you can rarely find in the bigger pop venues. Just like last year the festival will take place at Plein79, De Verkadefabriek and the W2. Check all the info (time schedule, pre-sale info) on their blog. The upcoming days, Incubate will give you their tips.

And now for something completely different! The one-man project Sleep Party People creates the ultimate sleepy-afterparty living room sound, with spacey tweaked vocals and psychedelic electronics that have this Flaming Lips vs My Bloody Valentine wave of sound on top of them. On tour, the brain behind the project Brian Batz will be supported by an orchestra of five band members, all dressed in black with bunny masks. The video above here was a project of Sony Ericsson in cooperation with Roskilde festival and gives a perfect example of the atmosphere of this unique performance to come!
