[Special] Inlog.org tips FabrIQ 2011: Benoît Pioulard

February 23, 2011

The second edition of FabrIQ festival will be held in Den Bosch this weekend. FabrIQ festival, also known as the festival of Intrusive Quality, focuses more on the intense and unknown music you can rarely find in the bigger pop venues. Just like last year the festival will take place at Plein79, De Verkadefabriek and the W2. Check all the info (time schedule, pre-sale info) on their blog. The upcoming days, Incubate will give you their tips.

Benoît Pioulard a.k.a Thomas Meluch has been a musician since the mid nineties, where he began messing around with his own field recordings on dictaphones, four-track machines and so on. Later he incorporated his guitar and from here on began producing his own take on experimental folk. Meluch is one of the few singer/songwriters who released music on the Kranky label. This label is also the home of Boduf Songs, who will be playing at the next edition of our Incubated evening.
