‘Wow us all away’

Renée van Trier

Video, photography, performance and music come together in the project space of the SM’s. In her work Renée Trier plays with the recognition of constantly changing identities and let them see the conflict between the person and the assumed identity, between authentic and artificial behavior. “A game with a goal to look awake at the world around us”, she says.

Renée van Trier was one of the participants in the 2009 edition of the New Jacks event at Incubate festival.

Note: The official opening of this exhibition was last Saturday the 26th, but it will remain open until April 10th.
