Next week Paradox will be the home for another Incubated edition! This edition will feature Barn Owl, Moon Duo, Kim Ki O and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma. 1. Can you please introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m Evan.  I play guitar and use my voice in Barn Owl.
I’m Jon and I also play guitar in Barn Owl.

2.Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
This will be our first time.

3.What can we expect of your gig at Incubated?
We’re playing material from as far back as our first full length, “From Our Mouths…”, and new material from our upcoming “Shadowland” EP on Thrill Jockey.  In a way, we will play songs strung together with improvised passages that have no definitive beginning or end.

4. What do you think of the other acts playing at Incubated 08 (Moon Duo, Kim Ki O and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma)?
It’s an awesome lineup.  Jefre is a good buddy of ours, we’re doing a whole five week EU/UK tour together.
Moon Duo is another band originally from San Francisco so I’m looking forward to that.  Haven’t seen them since playing on a bill that was one of their first shows over a year ago.

5. What are your plans for the (near) future?
A new EP followed by a new full length in the Fall, both on Thrill Jockey.  More gigs in Europe and America.
