Stephen O’Malley from Sunn O)))/KTL curates Editions Mego acoustic sublabel ‘Ideologic Organ’

Perhaps one of the most busy men in the music industry nowadays is one half of Sunn O)))/KTL (see pic), Stephen O’Malley. After playing and curating Roadburn two weeks ago, he announced that he will be curating a sub label as well. The label Editions Mego will now have a curated sublabel by Stephen called Ideologic Organ, focussing on vinyl/digital releases. But don’t expect the usual dooms ‘n drones, this sublabel focusses on acoustic music! The first two releases are by Moscow’s vocal ensemble and Phurpa and violist Eywind Kang with vocalist Jessika Kenney (see movie below).
