[Incubated 09] interview with Frank Fairfield

May 23, 2011

In less than two weeks it’s time for another Incubated edition at the Paradox. This time Frank Fairfield, Stranded Horse and Loops Haunt are playing. Today we’ve got an interview with Frank Fairfield for this blog. Check out his answers below. You can find the Loops Haunt interview we did last week over here.

1. Can you please introduce yourself?
“Well, they call me Frank Fairfield, and I play tunes and sing songs.

2. Have you played in the Netherlands before and if so, what’s your view on or experience with the scene you’re operating in in The Netherlands?
“I did play in the Netherlands last year, everyone was very friendly to me and my wife, and we both enjoyed the experience very much.”

3. What can we expect of your gig at Incubated?
“I’ll play tunes and sing songs and I hope people enjoy them.”

4. What do you think of the other acts playing at Incubated 08 (Stranded Horse, Loops Haunt)?
“Honestly, I don’t know anything about them.”

5. What are your plans for the (near) future?
“I try to not make too many plans.  I’m hoping upon returning home to continue work on a new reissue of records for Tompkins Square. Apart from that I suppose I’ll just do whatever shows up.”
