Ties van de Ven – (also see photo above) “I am inspired by images of the the variable and irregular video-signal. For this reason my works have theme’s like: the confluence of circumstances, regularity, image outside the frame, synergy, approaches to quantum physics, glitch aesthetics. Life and desire take place as there are anomalies that, within the signal, activate the will for change.”

Baukje Spaltro -“Painting is life, Life is painting! My ambition as artist is a clear individual process. In contrast, my work dissects my life-panorama’s from the past, present and future. I paint about, with and in time. Perception of my reality, figuration versus abstraction, color versus drawing, theme versus energy makes my work to which it is.
