Are you active as an amateur or professional artist? Want to show your work to a broad, international audience? Apply for the Open Source Expo Now! Deadline is set on June 20th. More info here or send an email with max 3. small jpegs and description to merijn@incubate.org.

Every day, ’till June 20th we will highlight some of the work the artists have handed in for our Open Source expo. We’d love to receive some of your work as well!

Today’s artists are:

Gijs van Lith – Gijs van Lith (1984) graduated in 2008 and is already nominated for a number of prices and awards. In 2009 he won the Thieme Art Award an he has his own book which you can check out here.

“He is showing the new vitality of painting, with the motto ‘Less talk, more action’. This vitality shows in his monumental works”. Check out his website over here.

Kim Pattiruhu – “My work is lonely, quiet and carefully weighed, with the result that there is much peace in my photography. I can’t say it’s honest, because sometimes I make reality more beautiful than it is. Reality with a touch of romance. It’s the only way to deal with reality.
