After months and months of hard work, we’re super psyched that we’ve finally reached our goal. During the week long project Play Me, I’m Yours, which starts on September 12, Tilburg and it’s surroundings will be filled with no less than 101 pianos in public places. And everyone is invited to come and play on them!
Play Me, I’m Yours is a work by English artist Luke Jerram based on having people talk to each other again in public spaces. The strange placement and the distinctive look of the pianos gives people the opportunity to see their own surroundings in a new light. After bringing street pianos to places like New York (60 pianos), London (30 pianos) and Geneva (20 pianos), artist Luke Jerram will be present in our own Tilburg with 101 pianos to play on….
For more information about the Play Me, I’m Yours project, visit the website: http://www.streetpianos.com . The pianos are free to play and visit. For other events at Incubate you can get your tickets here.
