[Watch] Cycling your own soundtrack

October 25, 2011

Feats per minute have made a bike that has vinyl as wheels! But wait, how can a bike make noise during your tours through the city? The pedals are, just as a normal bike, attached to the wheels. The needle sits on the vinyl, so when you’re pedalling down the streets of your city you will have your own soundtrack! The record stays stable because they used the mechanics of two vertical record players. The records gets ‘screwed’ on with a little cap. And what about the needle? It has a spring in it so it stays stable on the vinyl. It’s a first prototype, but we will see more of it in the near future. No more iPods, mp3 players or big headphones, you will make the sounds!
