[Watch] A special Halloween-post just for you: Glass Candy & Deadboy

October 31, 2011

Today is the official day of Halloween, the 31st of October. In America lots of people are going trick or treats tonight, or gonna party in style. But Halloween is an inspiration to a lot of horrormovies too, you may know the classics. Here is a song from Glass Candy which is based on John Carpenter’s Halloween. (That’s the one with Michael Myers chasing after Jamie Lee Curtis and her friends on Halloween, if you didn’t know that. And if you didn’t know that, be very ashamed). The videoclip of the song ‘Halloween’ is shot by Alberto Rossini, and it’s shot in true 70s style to perfect the hommage. Daunting, scary and goosebumps is one of those feeling you get with horrormovies, the clip has the same effect. Masks, girls running and a killer montage! Happy Halloween and good luck trick or treating after this clip.

And if you want some more Halloween, one of our favourite producers Deadboy, released a great Halloween mix. You can listen to it below.
