[Win] Still 2×2 tickets for ‘New Music For Early Instruments’ this evening!

You can still win 2×2 tickets for New Music For Early Instruments tonight, thanks to Gaudeamus Muziekweek! It’s this evening at Huis a/d Werf in Utrecht. If you want to go all you have to do is mail to win@incubate.org and put ‘New Music For Early Instruments‘ in the subject! The evening will consist of new music that will be played with ‘old’ instruments.

There will be three artists performing thursday evening R. Keenan LawlerGregg Kowalsky and Jozef van Wissem. The trio worked together in Brooklyn, New York on The Issue Project Room which is a fellow stage of Gaudeamus Muziek. Now they are coming to Utrecht to perform for you! R. Keenan Lawler will kick off the evening. He is playing the resonator guitar with an historical awareness for the finger-pick tradition and a skill to improvise. After Lawler, Gregg Kowalsky is lined up, he build cassetteplayers and repared elektronic acoustics  to loop and create a multi-dimensional reality. Last but not least is Jozef van Wissum, a Dutch lutenist who lives in New York and works with a lot of international musicians to bring the lute out of the musuem and give it a new meaning!
