Those of you who weren’t familiar with the (now defunct) experimental electronic noise outfit Yellow Swans, probably have never heard of Pete Swanson before. He was one of the two masterminds behind Yellow Swans. People who did not Yellow Swans, don’t have to panic, because the solowork of Swanson is an extension of his work for the noise group.

Now, for you who don’t know Pete Swanson: this is completely fucked-up and destroyed techno. It’s demented, deafening, delirious. If you dig Aphex Twin or Kevin Drumm, this will be right up your alley. You can buy the entire album ‘Man With Potential’ here. Or just listen to the sheer explosion that is Misery Beat.
