[Watch] Media animation: Frames

Frames is one awesome short mixed media animation. It’s about a character who thrust into different worlds after discovering the artificiality of his own world. It’s co-directed and animated by Martin Thoburn and Matti Adoma. The animation has a variety of different techniques to create the mixed media animation. They use pixilation, stop motion animation, green screen compositing, paper cutout and live action video.

The story is just awesome, it literally jumps to different worlds. A world of the 60s, a world where the character is a monkey, the world of photoshop and various other ones. The one thing that keeps coming back are the frames/glasses and the green apple. This is an awesome animation with the aspects of all the different techniques that you currently see on the internet. A must see!
