We want your 2011 album year-list!

November 29, 2011

The end is near. 2012 is dawning. That only means one thing. No, not the resignation of Wilders. No, not the end of capitalism either. No, Incubate 2012 isn’t near yet. No, we don’t quit (how dare you say that?). It’s far more important than all of those things: it’s time for the year-lists! You know, the end-of-year-lists! The 25 best albums of 2011. And we want YOUR help!

We figured that nobody really cares what we listened to all year. But we care what you listen to all year! We figure the Incubate crowd to be very open-minded and diverse, so we’re really interested to see what will be the number 1, because we have absolutely no clue!

It’s very simple. Pick a top 10 best albums of 2011. Mail it to 2011@incubate.org (and don’t forget to number them!) and that’s it. We already did so. The deadline is December 5th, so you’ve got one week to figure it out. And all lists will be posted on our blog!

Good luck! We really hope to receive hundreds of year-lists!

ps. you can also add albums released in the last 40 days of 2010, so you still can add the Kanye West, My Chemical Romance and Take That releases.. If you’d like to…
