You’re probably not gonna notice a lot on the pronunciation, but the Danish band War has changed his named to VÅR, the Danish word for ‘spring’. The duo, who we announced a month ago for our festival, wrote about their new name : ‘”the name change happens in spring and is named thereafter“. Thats seems pretty clear, right?

Together with this name change they released a new music video for the track In Your Arms (Final Fantasy), which is the openingstrack of the Sacred Bones-compilation where we posted about with Record Store Day. The frontmen from the New Way of Danish Fuck You-movement and another Incu12-band Iceage (Elias Ronnenfelt) and Sexdrome (Loke Rahbek, also label-owner of Posh Isolation) sound with this track even more as the lofi-electronic version of The Cure. In the music video we see muscles, roads, tattoos and lots of greyness; a perfect reflection of the song.
