[Listen] Port St. Willow – Holiday (Full album stream)

May 23, 2012

Port St. Willow is the project of Nick Principe. A name that you might have heard before after doing a song or two with The Antlers, and created a totally new song for Shaking Through together with Antlers frontman Peter Silberman. The tunes from that collaboration and his free EP Even//Wasteland created high anticipation for his first full album release. And now it’s finally here!

The combination of melodic wonderlands and Prinicipe’s wide-ranging vocals lend easy comparisons to Youth lagoon and The Antlers. But Holiday is way more than that, it’s an album that demands attention from its listener, when you’re all alone with only your headphones to have your back. An album full of emotional depths, something we haven’t heard that much on any albums this year.

Stay awhile, and listen.
