Another Incu Thursday, another five additions to the Incubate 2012 line-up!
We’re extremely proud that we may welcome Santiago Sierra, who will perform his latest installment The Destoyed Word.
Sierra will erect the character ‘S’ made of vegetables and fruit in the center of Tilburg. As the province Noord-Brabant has a massive pigfarmingindustrie, pigs will be used to destroy the ‘S’.
In the public library we will host an exhibition about the rest of The Destroyed Word-project, showing images and films of the destruction of the other characters.
Also confirmed: UK’s legendary dancehall pioneer Tippa Irie, who has been on the forefront of reggae dancehall scene since the 80s. Virtuosity and versatility are keywords describing Caspar Brötzmann, who will perform with his power trio lineup Caspar Brötzmann Massaker. Brooklyn’s Light Asylum (photo), probably best described as an electronic Joy Division/Grace Jones combo. And last but not least, Tilburgs very own United Sounds, one of the best soundsystems out there.
Passepartout tickets are now for sale for €75- as well as Daytickets for €15 to €27,50.
