Donate/buy Charalambides records to support Tom Carter’s medical expenses

June 25, 2012

Recently Tom Carter ( the guitarist/Charalambides co-founder) has been hospitalized for pneumonia in Berlin during Charalambides European Tour. Complications have forced Tom into intensive care for over two weeks now, the recovery time is unknown. This unexpected financial strain will be a huge burden on Tom Carter and his family, on top of the uncertainty of his condition.

Given Carter’s history and generosity more than a few ways of assisting Tom and his family financially are created by fans and fellow musicians. A fund is in the process of being formed to gather donations, more information can be found here. In the meantime Volcanic Tongue will be donating all the money from any Charalambides/Tom Carter/Christina Carter releases purchased on their site to the fund. Also label friend Blackest Rainbow Recordings will also donate the proceeds from their catalog.

Charalambides latest album Exile made it to #1 on Peter Meeuwsen, artistic team and booker of Incubate, individual top 10 year list. An album you should have had anyway.
