[Incu Thursday] Nguzunguzu, Will Guthrie, Virals + many more for #incu12

June 28, 2012

This Thursday there are another 16 artists we can add to the line-up. This years line-up is really getting into shape with these additions, but sadly there has also been a cancellation. Find out the whos and whats down below

LA’s production duo Nguzunguzu (photo) will unload some booming beats towards the crowd on Incubate-Friday. A different kind of beating will be produced by Australian improv drummer Will Guthrie on Wednesday. The frisky powerpop band Virals will provide Incubate with the much-needed jauntiness on Friday, also indie-rock collective Slow Down, Molasses are set to play on Friday.

Three Dutch artist will produce 8-bit/crooked hiphop beats in Cul de Sac on Wednesday. These are: Filosofische StilteFrietboer and Eigenheimer. We got more bands hailing from The Netherlands, but unlike the three before these guys like it darker and heavier, a lot heavier. We are talking about VillainyStarve and Ortega

A very promising act from Belgium is vvovnds. Expect badass noisy, harsh and violent hardcore from them. Norway has produced many great metal bands and you can add What Came From The Sea on that list. And some garage-punk or punky garage music all the way from Australia by The Peep Tempel.

Then we have Portuguese composer Tiago Sousa for some minimalistic piano compositions. And last but not least Austria’s Insanity Alert with Kevin Aper from The Apers.

Sadly we have to announce that Divorce has cancelled their entire tour, and hence their Incubate show as well. But we already have a replacement in the form of Charles Hayward, founding member and drummer of The Heat and many others.

Passepartout tickets are now for sale for €75- as well as Daytickets for €15 to €27,50.
