[Incu Thursday] 2 cancellations + hand full of new announcements for Incubate 2012

August 2, 2012

Even though we announced last week that the Incubate 2012 line-up is complete, there are still some changes going on due to Murphy’s law, bad hand reading, someone’s foot got stuck in a cheese grater… that sort of stuff. But we wouldn’t be Incubate if we didn’t (over)compensate for that. So don’t you worry about anything and start reading.

But first: Did you hear about this years camping? It’s a stone throw away from the city’s center and it’s actually quite cheap; only 10 euros per night! So, go get your camping tickets here and pack you’re tent, strap on your backpack and come camp with us.

Now, let’s start with the announcements related to artists that unfortunately had to cancel their Incubate 2012 appearances: A-sun Amissa had to cancel their show, as well as Black Bananas. We’re sad to see them go but who knows we’ll see them in another year.

And now, as promissed, here are the artist that we’ve added to the line-up. On Friday local clubbing organisation Klub Tilt is hosting the foyer party at 013 where you can find Jonathan Mendiola, Pejiej and Katerie behind the decks. This will all be going on while the the top of the German techno/house scene is heating up the Dommelsch zaal  with names as Johannes Heil, Anthony Rother, Pete Namlook and Heiko Laux. Than there’s Together. Also from Germany, but these boys are shaking up a whole other tree. Flinging aggressive but melodic hardcore punk tunes into their audience, this band will get the crowd moving at V39 on Saturday. Now we descent further down and find four new metal names in the line-up. Dr Doom will be supporting Napalm Death with their fine Dutch grindcore on Monday. And fans watch it: This is one of just two final shows Dr Doom will ever do. And then we have legendary death metal band Master playing the Little Devil venue on Wednesday together with Fleshless and Funeral Whore. And that’s it, No further additions to the line-up. For now.

If you think this line-up is rubbing you the right way, please direct yourself towards the ticket sale were you can purchase one day tickets or passe-partouts for the whole week.

And don’t forget to hook up with us on Facebook and Last.fm. To prepare yourself for what’s to come check out our Spotify playlist featuring many of this years artists.
