With only two weeks to go it’s sadly not preventable that we’ve got some cancellations for our festival which will start on September 10th. The following artists had to cancel their show at Incubate: Endless Boogie, Drum Eyes and Kleinindustrie. Of course we don’t want to give you only sad news, to make it up to you we’ve got also some fresh new confirmations.
For those who like to throw their elbows in the air we’re glad to complete the Incubate hardcore program with bands like Sex Drive, Swindle, Defy The Crown and Cracks In The Wall. Next to these hardcore bands we’ve arranged the coming of the, according to BBC Scottish band to watch of 2012: PAWS (photo). And we finish these confirmations with a Dutch band who are capable of mixing up of two of our Incubate-alumni Austra and Zola Jesus: Mineral Beings, which is part of the Hollandse Nieuwe stage on the Tuesday.
Next to our music program we’ve got two additions to our After School Avant-Garde program, where artists gonna work together with young primary school kids. We’ve already confirmed the French arty duo Gangpol & Mit. Now we’re adding the so-called ‘one of the most versatile and creatively liberated artists in Belgium´Floris Vanhoof, who’s gonna make music together with the kids with.. food. We’ve got also Wiersma & Smeets coming, a duo from two Tilburg based-artists who are building pretty bizarre devices to make projections and at our festival the children are gonna be a part of this.
Make sure you’re ‘attending‘ at our festival event on Facebook and for the ones who don’t live up here in the neighbourhood; there are still some campsite tickets left for only 10 bucks per night. And we probably don’t need to say anymore, but still, festival tickets can be sold here. See you in a few weeks!
Campsite
